Progress!

I'm one month in, and have done a good job of blogging every week. Go, me.  

Of course, something else has to slide, and what that means is my personal diary with all my secret Get-Me-Fired-or-Excommunicated-or-Something opinions has been gathering dust. Maybe I'll do better on that in February. I just need to find a niche to fit it in. 

I've also hit my first deadline on finishing the book. Two more chapters to go by April 1, and the first draft will be done. 

But the really big news is that we now have a Beautiful Bathroom!!

I think the bench is my favorite part.  The only thing we have to get used to now is that it's so bright in there, every time the sun shines through the window I think someone has left the lights on and am constantly grousing about having to go in and turn it—oh, never mind, it IS off. 

So if any of you ever come spend a night, this is what you can look forward to for your ablutions—assuming we get out of your way. I may just switch things up and claim this bathroom for residents and let guests use the cruddy master bath. Which I will not post photos of until we've redone it. Probably in 2050.
