Completely agree with this! Had a friend that moved on to other things this week that I won't be able to talk to as much, and there's a definite void now...

Excellent post! I also moved around a lot when I was young. Except I wasn't a Military child, and not by choice. Just how the cards were dealt. Funny thing is I did marry a Military man. And I have very few regrets. We have five grown children. You know one thing that was the hardest for me to get use to? The silence as each one began leaving home. There is light at the end of the tunnel. They ALWAYS come back! lol
