I've rejiggered my schedule yet again and am adjusting. Waking up later is nice. Working later is not. Hours in the car is not. Hours in the car with a dead lighter and no iPod is not. Trying to avoid working more hours just because I have the option is ... challenging.
My brother-in-law got into town yesterday. I have lost 8 pounds in the past week and a half. As I told a friend, I expect I will find them all again this weekend, hiding in the bottom of a booze glass. Maybe I can counteract by walking around a lot-lot-lot.
I finally got a chance to edit some of my dad's book. It is quite good.
The weather is finally nice. For about five more minutes. I got a lot of yardwork done last weekend. Trees: chopped. Weeds: Pulled (mostly.) Stuff left to do: Lots.
The hours I am home are pretty much exclusively kid time. Granted, he was sick Monday, had a baseball game Tuesday and a violin lesson last night, but it's still face time, right?
