1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup HERSHEY'S chocolate syrup
1 cup Reese's peanut butter chips
Frosting (recipe below)
Heat oven to 350 degrees, grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in large bowl until fluffy. Stir together flour cocoa and baking soda; add alternatively with syrup to butter mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in peanut butter chips. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare frosting and spread over brownies. Cut into bars.
FUDGE BROWNIE FROSTING
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
3 tablespoons HERSHEY’S cocoa
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat butter and cocoa in small bowl until well blended; gradually add powdered sugar alternately with combined milk and vanilla, beating until smooth and spreading consistency. Add additional milk, 1/2 teaspoon at a time, if needed.
