Mushroom and Onion Sauced Round Steak

2 lbs round steak, cut ¾ inch thick

1 T oil
2 onions, sliced
3 c sliced mushrooms
1 12-oz jar beef gravy
1 1.1 oz package dry mushroom gravy mix

Cut steak into 8 servings. Brown beef in hot oil. Place onions in crockpot, top with steak and mushrooms. Combine beef gravy and mushroom gravy mix, pour over all, cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours.
