¼ c butter
2 egg yolks
1/ c cream
1 t vanilla
¼ t salt
3-1/2 c sifted powdered sugar
Beat butter and egg yolks with paddle on speed for about a minute. Add cream, vanilla, and salt; mix on stir speed until combined, about 30 seconds, then beat on speed 2 until well blended, about 1.5 minutes. Scrape bowl. On stir speed, add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until desire consistency is reached. Increase to speed 4 and beat until smooth.
