We did as little as possible over the long weekend, and I loved every minute.
Saturday was tae kwon do, some shopping, the last skating lesson (the YP did not advance, and I'm not particularly devastated, it just makes it easier to skip re-enrolling him and moving on to some other activity,) then teaching the kid to count to 10 in Korean. That was travail. There was a small remonstrance of bad parenting and stubbornness by the end of the tearstained night. But! On Sunday, he could do it.
Sunday I set up the basement to be my gym. I now have absolutely no excuse not to exercise. I have TV, I have a treadmill, I have an iPod. Let the sweating begin.
I did laundry. I did ironing. I did a smidge of cleaning.
Mostly, we watched Alias. NYAB has been sucked into the show. I'm gratified.
Otherwise? Nothing. And now I have a time-off hangover. Good thing there's not much going on around the office this week.
There was a small discussion of people who go on Disney Cruises, and how I would be more likely to throw myself overboard than listen to happy tinkly Small World music.
And now? I'm off to a meeting.
There's plenty of martial arts that are WAY better than TKD - trust me, as a black belt in it, I know...
